Senior Vice President,

Business Development

The Senior Vice President, Business Development is responsible for establishing Applied Health Analytics’ overall sales strategy and plan for high growth. The candidate will serve as the face of the company to new markets interested in population health management within the commercial market and will be responsible for attracting and developing a best-in-class sales management team. The position reports to the CEO.


Key Qualifications:

  • Strong background in lead sourcing and campaign generation.

  • Exceptional sales expertise and ability to continuously outperform expectations and exceed sales goals.

  • Ability to build and successfully drive a strategic business plan for a determined sales market or markets.

  • Demonstrated success selling software, technology and consulting services.

  • In- depth knowledge of health system operations and organizational structure.

  • Thorough understanding of current health policy and its impact on employers, benefit consultants and brokers, workforce and health system’s movement from fee-for-service to value-based care.

  • Experience with health system population health strategies.

  • Understands the consultative nature in business development

  • Ability to anticipate needs of health system clients and to craft business development approach and product offerings to meet those needs.

  • Able to build close, productive relationships with internal partners such as operations, consulting, client services and account management.

  • Excellent negotiation and consultation skills including ability to source and close sales.

  • Comfortable working with health system executive leadership.

Additional Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience in closing sales required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.

  • Exceptional communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage inter-company relationships and appropriately influence others in a client-responsive manner.

  • Computer skills including knowledge of MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS-Outlook as wells a CRM and database tools.

  • Ability to travel as business needs required. (50% +)

Full-Stack Developer

The Full-stack Developer must have knowledge of all stages of software development and be comfortable working in large, legacy code bases. The position will work alongside other developers, collaborating on various layers of the software and infrastructure for multiple Software-as-a-Service applications.


  • Strong knowledge of PHP without mainstream frameworks - but experience with Laravel and/or Symfony is a plus

  • Understanding of design patterns such as MVC, factory and singleton

  • Experience with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 - jQuery, Bootstrap and Materialize are a plus

  • Experience working with Apache web server on Redhat or CentOS servers - Windows Server experience is a bonus

  • Experience with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Digital Ocean

  • Proficient understanding of Git - experience with bitbucket is a plus

  • Experience with NW.js and Angular 1.x is a plus

  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm to work as part of a team

  • At least 3 years of professional experience working as part of a team of developers
